After a fairly stressful day at work, I headed home a little early... Upon my arrival, I caught one of the classic Southern California sunsets from my house...
I love living here :) Where else can you come home and see that, and spend time outside mid-December while in shorts?
I spoke with a few friends on the East Coast today, and was told it was snowing and sleeting... YUCK! Come to Cali!!!

...and a few more

Kitty, meet the Public... Public, meet the Kitty...

I traveled back East, to Pennsylvania for work the past week, and stayed through the weekend. I saw many of my friends, and jammed a lot into my time there, covered 1,431 miles and 4 states with the rental car, with all the back and forth of work, various meetings in different locations and the monkey business of meeting up with my friends, it proved to be a VERY full week!!
While there I experienced a VERY different weather pattern than I am used to in Los Angeles. Needless to say, a pea-coat, gloves, scarf and hat were the accessories of the week. Living on the East Coast during my late high school and 4 years of college, I took a liking to the snow, I guess I just got used to it... however, living in sunny and warm Southern California makes you a wimp... REALLY quick!! During my trip there was some convergence of two jet-streams or some weather anomaly that dumped almost a foot of snow in just a few hours during the night.
The following pictures...
were taken from my parents kitchen looking out into the backyard. As you can see... this would classify as a "significant snowfall"...

To all of my family and friends that I got to spend time with, I enjoyed it very much. I miss all of you more than you know. I look forward to coming back for Christmas...
Over the last 6 weeks, this has been my second trip to the East Coast, and my 3rd is scheduled for the 21st of December. See everyone again soon!!
