summer sunset concert on the beach
... on sunday afternoon my very good friends and i decided we would attend one of many summer sunset concerts on the beach in hermosa.
this concert series is funded by the city and is open to the public free of charge. one of the perks is you can setup an entire picnic, with food, beverages and the like. this is where things got interesting. as we were lugging our 4 bags of groceries, beer, and wine down to the beach we were discussing how fun it was going to be and how prepared we were. well, upon arrival, we were the amateurs. some people had whole dining room sets, chairs, tables, even flowers on the table!!
the beach ended up being really full of people, more than i expected. the music was half way decent, the food and drinks were great, and it was all around another great time with my friends.
